1. When do I have to leave the room? At noon on your departure day.

2. When do I get access to the room? 6 pm or talk to your host if you need access before that time or late in the evening.

3.  When do I pay my booking fee? Before your arrival in Stockholm. The rest of the fee for the room is to be paid when you arrive to your host.

4. Are there any cooking facilities in the room? No. Only when renting a full apartment.

5. What is "shared" bathroom? The bathroom is shared with the host, as a guest you have preference to the bathroom.

6. Do you have any discounts for students? No

7. If we leave really early on our departure day, may we have breakfast at that time instead? In general, no, breakfast is served at 9. But you can ask your host.

8. How late can we return to our room at night? In general, as late as you like, in an organized manner.

9. If I rent a double room alone will the price be lower? No, it is the same price for one as for two persons in a room.

10. Do I get my booking fee back if I choose not to use the room?  If you are not able to arrive you have to tell your host at once. Cancellation terms: in the case of cancellation of the booking,
Stockholm Uptown shall charge a penalty to the client calculated as a percentage of the amount due for the period booked, in relation to the notification of cancellation given
30% of the total amount of the vacation for cancellations made 60 to 20 days before the foreseen arrival date; 50% of the total price of the vacation for cancellations made 19 to 7 days before the foreseen arrival date; 100% of the total price of the vacation for cancellations made 6 days or less before the foreseen arrival date, with a minimum vacation of 1 night. All paid deposits shall be used as partial or full payment of the above indicated penalties.

11.  Can I leave my luggage in the room during the day of my departure? No, the room will be cleaned for the next guest. There are safe-deposit boxes at the Central Station.

12. How do I know I have booked a room? You will receive a booking confirmation and information on how to pay your booking fee. With the booking confirmation you will also receive contact information to your host.

13. How far is it from the Central Station to my host? See under "How to get there"  in the room description. Usually all our rooms can be found within walking distance from the Central Station.

14. Can I bring anybody else to my room? No, only those who are booked may use the room.

15. Do I get my own key? Yes, at arrival to your host, after full payment, you will sign an assurance and thereby get your key. The key shall be returned on the day of departure.

16. What is included in the breakfast? Coffee or Tea, bread, cheese, marmalade and orange juice.  If you due to allergy need to change any item, please talk to your host before arrival.

17. How big is a Queen size bed? A Queen size is 140 cm to 160 cm wide, a King Size is 180 cm to 200 cm and a Double bed is two separate beds 90 cm wide.

18. Is there any washing facilities available? Talk to your host, some hosts will do the laundry for you (may cost), others can show you how to use either their washing machines or the laundry room found in the building.

19. Do  any of the rooms have Internet access? No, but Internet cafés can be found in the City. Many places in Stockholm has WIFI Hot spots.

20. We need a baby crib, can you provide us with one? Rosenhill can provide you with a baby crib in their rooms.
